Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
— John 8:12

Emily and I have been given the amazing opportunity to direct Waasayaa North Bible Camp. WNBC is a minitry of Community Baptist Church, the church at which we will be serving. Waasayaa means the source or origin of light in the Ojibwe language. Waasayaa North Bible Camp is a place where friendships are made and children, youth, and families are reached with the clear Gospel.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
— Mark 16:15

Waasayaa North Bible Camp has been a huge success over the past 7 years. We’ve been able to serve together at camp for the past 3 summers. God has grown this ministry and blessed the camp with new facilities. Camp will be hosted at the new facilities for the first time in the summer of 2025.

Youth from many remote First Nations communities have come to camp. Through serving at this camp ministry over the past several years, we’ve been able to build important relationships and trust with families across the region in which we will be ministering.
